BEIJING (Reuters) - China's Ministry of Health said a young man had died of the H5N1 strain of bird flu Monday, the fifth reported death this month. Health ChinaThe 18-year-old was admitted to hospital on Jan 24 in Yulin, in the southwestern Guangxi, bordering Vietnam, after falling ill and entering a local clinic in the town of Beiliu three days earlier. He had contact with dead poultry before falling ill, the Ministry said, adding that people who have been in contact with him have not shown any signs of the illness. In December, the Ministry of Agriculture reported positive results during routine tests for bird flu among poultry in Jiangsu province, but has not reported an outbreak among poultry for months. The H5N1 flu remains largely a virus among birds, but experts fear it could mutate into a form that is easily transmitted by humans and spark a pandemic that could kill millions worldwide.Since the H5N1 virus resurfaced in Asia in 2003 it has infected 399 people worldwide and killed 252 of them, according to World Health Organization data Saturday. The bird flu deaths in China in January have been scattered across the country in areas where there has been no known outbreak of bird flu among poultry, raising concerns among scientists that the virus may be present but masked by widespread vaccination.Another victim, a 29-year old man in Guizhou province, is in stable condition, the Xinhua news agency said Monday, while a two-year old girl in a Shanxi hospital is now recovering.(Reporting by Lucy Hornby and Niu Shuping; Editing by David Fox) Health China.

The Tuskers started the game very slowly, but really picked it up in the second half.Tuskers QB Brooks Bollinger threw for four touchdowns in the game as he guided a Florida rally from an early 10-0 hole to really take it to the New York Sentinels 35-13 in front of announced attendance of 11,203 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl."After a shaky start we settled down after we got that turnover and we kind of flipped things on them," Tuskers Coach Jim Haslett said. The New York Sentinels would strike first as ex-FAMU quarterback Quinn Gray would hit wide out Caphonso Thorpe for an 11-yard Touchdown toss that put New York up 7-0 with 12:51 to go in the first quarter. The first offensive possession for the Tuskers, however, did not go as smoothly. But then Bollinger would take a sack on third and five on the Sentinels ten yard line setting up newly acquired place kicker Matt Bryant from 35 yards out. He missed.Bollilnger was later picked off in the second quarter by the Sentinels Paul Pratt and returned 27-yards to the Tusker's one-yard line. New York seemed ready to pounce on Florida early and take a 17-0 lead, but the Tuskers stood strong stuffing Cecil Sapp twice at the goal line.On the next play is where the momentum of the game changed. Running back Tatum Bell carried the ball three times for 28 yards which setup a one yard TD pass from Bollinger to Ryan Neufield to take the lead up to 28-13.Florida's defense did more than its job on the day holding New York to 63 yards of offense in the second half. QB Brooks Bollinger was 20-for-26 on the night for 225 yards. He completed passes to 10 different Tuskers receivers."We played everybody today," Haslett said "We tried to get everybody in the game.
We got a guy off the street two days ago Marcus Maxwell and we were telling him the route as he was running out.""As a group we're probably as good as any NFL club Maybe you don't have a big-time front line but No. 2, 3 and 4 are as good as anybody you'll get in the league," Haslett said.Haslett said after the game that he expected the team to sign two more players today but would not comment on who those players would be.The Tuskers' next game is Wednesday at Las Vegas.. ) Periodically throughout the season, I will be checking up on the best and brightest young talent in the junior leagues. First on the docket is Windsor Spitfires forward Taylor Hall.Taylor Hall is likely the most skilled player available in the draft since Sidney Crosby was drafted in 2005.An amazing combination of size, speed, skill, and grit, any team that wins the Taylor Hall sweepstakes will have a franchise forward in the system.Hall spent last season with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League. An amazing start to the season really put the Kingston native on the map. Even though he went into a bit of a slump in the second half he still managed to record 38 goals and 52 assists in 63 outings.Heading into the playoffs their were many questions regarding how Taylor Hall would recover from the second half.Well he certainly silenced his critics. The Windsor Spitfires ran the tables in the OHL playoffs only needing 20 games to dispatch of the: Owen Sound Attack, Plymouth Whalers, London Knights, and Brampton Battalion.
