This was a rough start to the season, especially when Bears fans found out Brian Urlacher was out for theseason. The season opener was ugly, and we should all NEVER speak of this again Moving right along.... Week 2, the Chicago Bears did the unthinkable. Lead by veteran Alex Brown's two sacks, and his pressure causing the game altering interception, they beat the defending Super Bowl champs. Granted the Steelers were without defensive superstar Troy Polamalu, but the Bears were also playing without defensive captain Brian Urlacher. In addition to great play by key players on the Bears, the Steelers kicker Jeff Reed missed two field goals. I think the Bears were lucky to pull this one out, but I think it has started the momentum I said they will need.
What a cute Tony Pail, too bad it didn't help him when Charles Tillman stripped the ball. I am so glad that "the Bears ain't holla at him," as he said I am just fine with Hester, Knox and Bennett In this game, I have to give credit to Seneca Wallace That guy played like a maniac. Also, I have to give Lance Briggs a vote of recognition for the difficult interception. I was worried early on in this game, but the Bears eked it out. Finally, Matt Forte comes onto the scene. The second half rolled around, and Johnny knocked the wind out of the Lions, with an 102 yard kickoff return Then the Bears were unstoppable. I predicted this game correctly, stating "Stafford would be running away from the Bears all day.". After the first 4 games, the Bears have quite a few guys that are dinged up.

Devin Hester left the game against the Lions in the first half, and Johnny Knox followed him late in the second half. In addition to these two guys going down, Israel Idonije had his knee checked, and Alex Brown has been suffering from an ankle injury. Hopefully, all of these recently injured guys will recuperate, and all the players with lingering injuries will get a chance to rest(Tommie Harris) Mike Singletary is the coach of San Francisco. He is also the man who played Middle Linebacker for the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears.Singletary has gotten his team off to a strong start this season, and this team looks to give the Bears a serious threat. I think this game will be a defensive battle, and will be a big running game for both teams I think the match-up to watch is Frank Gore vs the Bear's Defensive Line. If Head Coach Mike Singletary can contribute his intensity to his team, they could beat the Bears I think this is going to be a very close one. Really darn good This game is borderline scary.
The Eagles have shown that they can not only score, but also, that they can stop their opponents from scoring. I expect this to be a low scoring game, and a battle of the defenses. I think this will be a battle between Charles Tillman/Zack Bowman vs Desean Jackson/Jeremy Maclin. The Bears front four also has to get to Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick to secure a solid victory. Another game that worries me The Viqueens are good, again. We all(Bears fans) know AP is really good, and are really sick of hearing about it.
