Eight days of the Vancouver Olympic Games, what are your goals out sporting results

Vancouver will be for us an opportunity to promote the nomination of Annecy 2018 Winter Olympic Games in maintaining contacts at the international level. We planned to organize seven evenings with Olympic representatives of different continents. Contrary to what might be said, the nomination of Annecy is not a nomination of testimony or transition pending a possible French apply to summer games. We, moreover, followed the international Olympic Committee, who recalled late December that the games were first made to athletes. We have chosen for the bid Committee an unprecedented organization, with, on the one hand, a supervisory board bringing together institutional actors around Christian Monteil, President of the General Council of Haute-Savoie, and, on the other hand, an operational management entrusted to Olympic champion Edgar Grospiron.

Regarding the Olympic Games in London in 2012, we are the creation of a large "Village France" in the heart of London open communities and French companies. We need to raise a budget of 5 to 8 million euros.

In terms of governance, Bernard Laporte, the former Secretary of State for Sports, had set foot in the flat by proposing to ban the Presidents of the federations more than two terms. Has your thinking changed on this subject

We are still opposed. But there is for our federations of the so-called "B" statutes, which allow a mode of distribution of powers based on the world of business, with a supervisory board and a Board of Directors. It is an interesting scheme.

What do you think of the organisation of sport in France and the link between the sports movement and the State

Need to optimize and simplify the relations with the Ministry of Sports. Between sports bodies and those of the State, it is too often in the presence of duplicates. Furthermore, while the commitments of the State are expected to decrease, NSDC national Centre for development of the sport, powered by a levy on the activity of the French of the games and TV rights Editor's note represents a more part of the budget of the Ministry of Sports - about 220 million on 800. We would like to make its management in parity between the sports movement and the Department. Overall, I am therefore for shared governance, either with a Department, a secretariat of State or even a High Commission.

I also need to associate with this governance the economic world, and the communities that fund the sport to the tune of EUR 10 billion per year, including 1.2 billion only for the regions and departments. From this point of view, we campaign for the reform of current community, which provides the deletion of the clause of general jurisdiction for the departments and regions, for the creation of a sport specific competence, to not stem the flow of current financing.

You also have social applications

We defend a provision that could enter the future Bill on professional sport. This was to ensure that the athletes can contribute for retirement during their sports career. We also support assisted jobs that wishes to the Government. At another time, sport has generated 20,000 to 30,000 jobs-young people, of which many have been transformed into permanent jobs.

The sports movement there, according to you, as only vocation competition and obtaining medals

Not at all. I would like to develop "sports welfare." Many federations have already offer on the subject, but, to go further I proposed to Roselyne Bachelot, Minister of health and Sports, to be associated with an ambitious plan on sport and health and we will organise in late September, with the sports movement, a national day of "sports welfare."
